We cannot wait to celebrate love, life, and fine wine with our closest family and friends in beautiful St. Émilion, France.
While the full details will follow later, we kindly ask you to save the date for our wedding weekend.
To help us with the early planning and logistics, please review the tentative program below and fill out the quick RSVP form at the bottom of this page as soon as possible and no later than 1st of November.
Nestled among rolling vineyards and grand, centuries-old oak trees, Château de Pitray is where our wedding weekend will come to life. Located in the beautiful countryside right next to St. Émilion, this breathtaking 15th-century estate combines timeless French elegance with a rich winemaking heritage. It is a working winery with a soul, and the moment we laid eyes on it, we knew it was the perfect setting to celebrate our big day with all of you.
For the best travel experience, we recommend flying into Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport (BOD).
If your travel schedule allows, we highly recommend spending a day or two either before or after the wedding weekend to explore the vibrant city of Bordeaux and the wine region surrounding St. Émilion. It is a beautiful area filled with incredible history, world-class food, and unforgettable scenery that is well worth experiencing.
Château de Pitray, is located in the beautiful countryside of Gardegan-et-Tourtirac, just a 15-minute drive from St. Émilion.
If you want to start planning your stay early, here are the most strategic locations for rental houses, apartments, or hotels:
St. Émilion & Surrounding Areas: The medieval village offers stunning hotels and apartments. However, for a highly strategic (and often more cost-effective) option, we recommend looking for rental houses or villas located in the countryside of St. Emilion or along the stretch between St. Émilion and Château de Pitray. Group Up: If you want to stay with a group of friends or family, organizing a shared house through Airbnb or Booking.com is a wonderful and cozy way to experience the area.
Libourne: For a wider selection of accommodation that offers excellent value, the charming nearby town of Libourne is a great alternative. It is located just 10 minutes by train from St. Émilion. Please note that we are currently looking into arranging nighttime transportation back to Libourne on Saturday, depending on final guest numbers and availability.
Shuttle Access: We are currently planning the weekend's logistics and aim to operate shuttles from the town center of St. Émilion. To make the weekend as easy as possible for yourself, we recommend looking for places within walking distance of Château de Pitray, or along the route into St. Émilion.
Due to the seating and capacity limits of our venue, all invitations are strictly personal and addressed to the individual(s) as adressed by the invitation. We kindly ask for your understanding that we are unable to accommodate additional guests or plus-ones who have not been formally invited by name.
We also want to inform that this is an adult-only wedding weekend.
